Luis Queiroz, D.V.M.

Dr. Queiroz is the Chief Scientific Officer at eGenesis-WI, responsible for the research of donor production. Dr. Queiroz has more than 25 years of experience and leadership in industrial embryology, animal reproduction biotechnology, and cell therapy.

Dr. Queiroz most recently served as Chief Scientific Officer at ICBiotec, LLC, serving academic and industry clients throughout the US. Prior to his role at ICBiotec, Dr. Queiroz was Director of Embryology and Stem Cell Technology at Minitube of America/CRI-ICB, Mount Horeb, WI. Dr. Queiroz founded and served as  Vice President of BIO-Animal Reproduction Biotechnology and BIO CELL in Brasilia, DF, Brazil from 2001-2011.

Dr. Queiroz founded several companies dedicated to the production of large-scale livestock embryos via in vitro fertilization (IVF) and cloning (SCNT) technologies, and mesenchymal stem cell (MSC) for regenerative cell therapy of multiple injured tissues including tendon, muscle, articulation, skin, bone for companion and wildlife animals.

Dr. Queiroz earned a M.S. in Veterinary Medicine, Concentration Area: Animal Reproduction, with Postdoctoral Course of the School of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science, University of Sao Paulo, Brazil. He earned his D.V.M. degree from the School of Veterinary Medicine: Federal University of Uberlandia, Minas Gerais, Brazil.
