Dr. Qizhi Tang is a professor in immunology and director of the Transplantation Research Laboratory at the University of California, San Francisco. Research in her lab focuses immune tolerance and developing novel therapeutics for treating autoimmune diseases and preventing transplant rejection. She has published over 100 research articles in the field of immunology. Dr. Tang studied medicine at the Peking Union Medical College, earned a Ph.D. in Immunology at the University of Illinois at Chicago, and completed her postdoctoral training in immunology at the University of Chicago and University of California, San Francisco.
